Swissair, the Swiss flag carrier, operates an extensive Airbus fleet of A319s, A320s, A321s and A330s. The only non-Airbus products in their fleet inventory are the 19 Boeing-McDonnell Douglas MD-11s. Presently on order are 8 Airbus A320s, 5 Airbus A330s, and 9 Airbus A340-600. We take pride in releasing the replica of Swissair's A319. These were ordered with a mix of A320-214s and A321-111s, to replace the airline's ageing fleet of MD-80s on inter-European routes. CFM International developed a new version of their CFM56 engine to meet Swissair's strict exhaust emission requirements.
