MARTINAIR MD-11

Dutch carrier Martinair acquired MD-11s as replacement for their DC-10s, two of which were sold to the Royal Netherland Air Force for conversion to tanker/cargo aircraft. Today, Martinair operates six MD-11s, four of which are convertible freighter variants, and the remaining two, pure freighters. The MD-11s are utilised mainly on charter flights on high-density European holiday routes, as well as long-range services. Three of these aircraft are on lease. We honor this successful Dutch carrier with a replica of the MD-11 in their distinctive colors.
