China Airlines MD-11 (N489GX)

This plane belongs to the GATX (a plane rental company) with the former client of World Airways. Later in the Oct of 1977, China Airlines rented this plane and standardlized it with the painting of the China Airlines MD-11. However, some time within the year 2001, it will cease its domestic service.

Beginning in April 2001, China Airlines started to re-furnish all the rented MD-11 planes. Later on, it will fly to Italy for its next customer - FedEx. With the agreement between China Airlines and FedEx, you will still see the MD-11 in CKS International Airport.
