The central part of any long-range MOLLE pack configuration is the Main Ruck -- that's this big pack here with the flap. The top has an expandable collar with storage space for days inside, not to mention bunches of MOLLE-compatible loops around the outside for mounting various pouches and other equipment. That small pocket on the rear is just perfect for a Claymore mine -- and is not-so-coincidentally named a "Claymore mine pocket". The Main Ruck can be worn by itself or mounted on the MOLLE frame ... but if you've already got the frame, why make things difficult?
