These
Winter Combat Trousers are second-pattern ... you can tell by the clip attachment
of the shoulder straps and the peek-a-boo access vent on the left thigh. That
vent was put there special so us Tankers wouldn't have to take down the whole
shebang every time we gotta go -- well, you know.
Not
quite sure why they call 'em "winter" trousers, though ... Uncle Sam
ain't made a warm piece of gear for soldiers since Washington was a colonel!
